As an individual living in Australia, I can safely say that we have yet another prime minister who is a suck up to America. Australia has a long and proud history of sucking up to American imperialism and this is no different.

After seeing Japanese imperialism spread south there has been this belief in both Labor and Liberal politics that Australia is defenceless against Asian countries. After WW2 Australian leadership noted the shifts in world imperialism from the UK to the USA. It has been since then that both sides of Australian politics have emphasized a military alliance is neccassary with the US for "protection", the belief that the USA would come to Australia's aid if an Asian country invaded.
The opposition to this comes from either skepticism that the US would drop everything to help Australia. And then skepticism about seeing China as an enemy, rather noted it's places as a growing world power with significant labour force and potential for investment in.
Of course Australia being an anglo-capitalist country, a small to middle world power and being one of only two predominant anglo countries in South East Asia/Pacific it is just a tactic in regards to imperialism. Australia is not strong enough to back it's finance imperialism. It relies on the alliance with the US as a surrogate for it's military power. Australia conveys the interest of US imperialism with the belief that the US would flex it's muscle if conflict arose in the South East.
This is also part of a cantainment plan for China. There should be no awe around this move to increase troops in Australia. This goes hand in hand with the aliance with USA. Australia is not militarily powerfull to back enforce finance imperialism, so it latches onto US imperialism. USA can rely on the Australian state for complete obedience, Australia can provde intelligence (there are quite a few AFP in Indonesia and the Philipines I believe) and it can rely on Australian land to conduct military action given its a southern position. It covers China from South Korea in the north, Guam in the middle and Australia in the south.

I find the chinese governement extremely patient.
I mean, the U.S blatantly goes all the way to intimidate china and the answer is: we dont think its a good idea.

or at least a strong speech agresively condemning china.
Somehow i think its even more scary to hear the chinese state dirrectly threatened say something like ''We dont think its a good idea''.

The more I think about this the more I'm pissed off, they'll have a base in NZ soon. That is, if there isn't one there already. I'm ready to compare them to Nazis at this stage because I can see where this is going.
Fascism is Capitalism in decay.
That is all.

I doubt the USA would bite off more than they can chew.
The Soviet Union had America shitting their pants; China is a whole new ball game.
