Greetings from Finland

Hello everyone i'm a Marxist-Leninist from Finland. My friend told me about this website and have been lurking here for few months, and finally decided to make an account. I first became disillusioned with Capitalism around the 2008 Crisis, but wasn't really interested in politics at the time. Wasn't untill 2011 that i really became involved with left-wing politics. After a while i started studying the former USSR and Communism in general, and a little while later listened the Communist manifesto audio tape. My family doesn't exactly share my views, there mostly Nationalist and support the borderline fascist True Finns :o

Living in Finland opened my American eyes to better education, and a really great Lenin museum! ;) I'm indebted to your country for helping me discover my political views, having professors teach me things I'd never learn about in an American classroom.

I don't exactly see Finland as the greatest place to be as a foreigner, Nationalism and Racism have sadly always been part of this culture. Still i'm glad to hear you enjoy it here :)

True, propaganda plus the very fact we live in a capitalist society does terrible things to otherwise normal and good people.
At least they don't bother you much it seems, some comrades get almost "exiled" out of their families.
