Anyone who wants to work with the Occupation Wall Street/Labor Outreach Committee should meet at the SE corner of Center Street and Worth Street starting at 3:30 PM (5:00 the latest).
The LOC will be leafleting and getting names of unionists to build itself up. This is the most left-wing and union-oriented part of OWS.

My local NY occupy is heading down to Wall street. Albany is also having a Day of Action on 11/17 to shut down NY State. Troy, Buffalo and Rochester are heading there. Other NY State Occupies are Binghamton, Cortland, Ithaca, Saratoga, Syracuse, & Ithaca. Don't know where they are going, if anywhere.

On Thursday November 17th, the two month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement, we call upon the 99% to participate in a national day of direct action and celebration!
New York City
BREAKFAST: Shut Down Wall Street - 7:00 a.m.
Enough of this economy that exploits and divides us. It's time we put an end to Wall Street's reign of terror and begin building an economy that works for all. We will gather in Liberty Square at 7:00 a.m., before the ring of the Trading Floor Bell, to prepare to confront Wall Street with the stories of people on the frontlines of economic injustice. There, before the Stock Exchange, we will exchange stories rather than stocks.
LUNCH: Occupy The Subways - 3:00 p.m.
We will start by Occupying Our Blocks! Then throughout the five boroughs, we will gather at 16 central subway hubs and take our own stories to the trains, using the "People's Mic".
Bronx

DINNER: Take The Square - 5:00 p.m.
At 5 pm, tens of thousands of people will gather at Foley Square (just across from City Hall) in solidarity with laborers demanding jobs to rebuild this country's infrastructure and economy. A gospel choir and a marching band will also be performing.
Afterwards we will march to our bridges. Let's make it as musical a march as possible - bring your songs, your voice, your spirit! Our "Musical" on the bridge will culminate in a festival of light as we mark the two-month anniversary of the #occupy movement, and our commitment to shining light into our broken economic and political system.

Big ups to Broadway Junction, Jamaica Center, Roosevelt Ave, 125 St., Yankee Stadium, etc., these are the neighborhoods we need to be in.
Due to me literally getting fired from my job or failing my class if I skip either one tomorrow, I unfortunately can't be there (skipping so much stuff back in September/October is coming back to me now), hopefully there will still be stuff going on when I get out (work/school from 9-8:30).
Solidarity to everyone going out tomorrow, give em hell

Comrades i am sorry i am not down there marching alongside you. Our project deadline is tomorrow, and the only people on the jobsite is me and another coworker. I am at work right now to prevent any blame from falling on my coworker in case the project does not get completed on time. I have never felt so shitty for not being able to participate before. I am doing all i can to raise awareness and support of the movement at our workplace, and i do think i'm being successful ( in front of the bourgeiosie too )
I have a suggestion for the movement to occupy subways. The media portrayed it out as if the protesters would be blocking entry into the stations, and from my observations the workers are against this because they still have to travel. My proposal is to consider blocking the turnstiles, and opening the gate to give people free passage. I floated this idea to some people on the subways who were worried, and they fully supported this idea. It might put out cause in a more positive light.
Edit: i've also noticed several custom agents in patrol cars cruising around headed towards the financial district. Be wary of this.

More and more police are surrounding Zuccotti Park, people cannot get in or out. They have barricaded all the entrances/exits. Paddy wagons are slowly rolling in. Looks like a raid and mass arrest is about to happen at Zuccotti Park. Reports that someone was hit in the head with a baton and may be bleeding. Someone may have lost teeth after being hit. And one man asked an officer if he was stuck in the park, the officer replied, "yep."

Truth is there was a Nov 17 action planned relatively early on, i don't remember when, though. I actually forget what was and what wasn't our game of sneaking in anarchist and communist imagery and messages in the whole. We actually used N17 as one of the tags on communications.

I loved the part where apparently, having a representation of flower guy from Tian an Men is unpatriotic because he's not american (white, I guess). Also apparently propaganda in a style used by american lefties historically is unamerican.
And that's the one idiot who realized this was part of the imagery.
Then again these are people who read nazis and fascists, take their entire platform from then, and still kneejerkedly insist they're not nazis and fascists.
