So in the UK, Unite is accepting students and unemployed on 2 quid a month. It's a 'community membership' where they offer legal support in return for general help supporting disputes and campaigns. Obviously I attend picket lines and support anti-cuts campaigns anyway, but do people think this is worth doing? Is it a positive development that they are opening their doors to students? All advice appreciated.
