Something occured to me recently.
I'm sure we've all seen those ridiculous caps-lock, copy-and-paste "articles" from capitalists about how Communism killed such-and-such number of people. Regardless of the validity of those numbers, I have something a little more semantic in mind.
How come, when an abortion clinic is bombed, no one ever says "Four people were killed today by Christianity"?
The news almost always says something to the effect of "Right-wing Christian extremists" bombed a clinic. Yet, when "Communism" "kills" people - ignoring the fact that the great majority of suffering was caused by that great capitalist-revisionist Khrushchev - the blame is always placed squarely on our ideology as a whole.
Strange, the way these capitalists subtly alter their choice of words to pin some admittedly gruesome crimes (even Mao admitted too many people died,) on a group of people who may or may not have agreed with them.
