Thats fucked up. I mean religion is the crystal meth of the masses, Ok fine the cocaine, but still you have the right believe what you want just as much as the right you have to use cocaine and religous discrimination is still discrimination.

Racism is much prettier when painted in sublime metaphysics.

Silly Racialists, century-old pseudo-science is for Fash.

That Muslim community should hold an anti-Christian rally. Troll the bigots!

Sectarian violence isn't fun. Encouraging it, is the equivalent of encouraging a race war. Stop it. Its not an internet flame war.

Islam is inherently reppresive, as is all instituionalized religion. That being said people have the right to believe whatever they feel like.

I don't see how that's any more tolerable then what is mentioned in the OP.

Yes, because Islamic extremism has worked so well thus far.

ban religion altogether and perhaps we'd be a little less stupid as a culture.

I have a serious distrust of this 'let people believe whatever they want' shit. We constantly and loudly express that those who are Nazis and Fascists are morons who shouldn't believe in what they believe. Why say that people are allowed to believe in an organisation of any kind that supports the oppression of those who don't believe and minorities within the organisation? Does it being a religious organisation truly give it some form of get-out-of-jail-free-card for the bullshit they extol? Does its quasi-spiritual core truly forgive the dogmatic acceptance of oppression on homosexuals, jews and women?

In my opinion, both parties in this situation are morons clinging to the vestiges of a pathetic system of worship that should die out... just sayin'.

They can believe whatever bullshit they want. They just can't act and spread that bullshit.

A person can have their own religious views, that's not a problem. There are many many comrades of faith. Spirtuality is a personal issue and someone's spirtual views are of no concern to you or me.

Religious people =/= Nazis/Fascists

Most of the religious people I know are good folks. Some of them are a really smart, too. I've never heard of a Neo-Nazi or a fascist who wasn't a complete piece of shit, though. Most religious people pick and choose what they believe, as well. While the Bible and the Qur'an are full of evil, most adherents don't act on it.

There are those who do act on it, of course, but I don't think the majority of the world's population should be persecuted for paying lip service to a certain faith. Obviously, religion continues to have a negative impact on the world, but the average Christian isn't half as bad as the average Neo-Nazi.

really fucking dumb idea

communists are of the view that religion is an "opiate"; a painkiller. religion offers a way to escape the ills of class society, and if you want irrational religious beliefs gone or whatever then your best bet is to end class society itself.

I'm not going to say Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus etc. shouldn't worship - I just see it as oppression of the mind. I hate religion, not the people who follow it (unless they're trying to rub it on me and others, which is usually the case, sadly). It's like eating shit: do it if you want but don't threaten me when I say no to it.

True to quite an extent, but that doesn't explain Christian communists and the likes. I see religion as giving meaning to something (life) which has no meaning in the first place; people don't like the idea that we will cease to exist when we die, and god/heaven/reincarnation is the only thing that can save one from such an idea, so I do understand what you're saying.

Fucking Christians! How dare these fuckfaces go into a muslim area and sprea their vile hatred? If they had some descency at all, they would stay out of muslim area's and leave the people be, they are picked on and discriminated against enough as we speak, we don't need dipshits like this treading on their ground and disrespecting them.

See the hate in the Christians' eyes and be shocked like you've never been before:

You don't need some convoluted system of metaphysics to give life a false sense of meaning. The meaning of life is quite simple:

1. Have fun
2. Help others do the same
3. Try to leave this world in a better condition than when you found it.

No need for gods or mythology.

Fuck that pisses me off.

The gathering in Detroit at Ford Field, the stadium where the Detroit Lions play, starts Friday evening and is designed to tackle issues such as the economy, racial strife, same-sex relationships and abortion. But the decade-old organization known as TheCall has said Detroit is a "microcosm of our national crisis" in all areas, including "the rising tide of the Islamic movement."Somehow I doubt Muslims are responsible for America's deteriorating economy and its backwardness when it comes to racial bigotry and sex.
