Not that i'm defending the governments institutions. but can someone please tell me why some of these libertarians think that eliminating them will be better? Obviously they are flawed to shit! Specially the Department of Agriculture who's headed by former CEOs of Food Corporations. But isn't lobbying the big issue here? I just don't understand how by getting rid of these agencies we are supposed to be better of! Get the money and favoritism out of them and I feel they will run smoothly and truly serve the people.

Running smoothly under capitalism? I don't think so.

I am always surprised that we have all of these agencies that are supposed to be helping the welfare o the people but are used instead to promote "growth", i.e. improve the lot for the ruling class.

I think the base foundation for a socialist nation is set up in this country with it's various departments. All that is needed is for it to be directed toward the needs of the masses and not the needs of the few.

like I said I'm not defending them nor am I "for them" under the present system and conditions they are ran. However I believe that with less of what I mention they would be better than they are now.
