I mean, really.

Really?

Set aside the fact that the whole system is rotten to the core.

Set aside for the moment that your idea of having a presidential contest in a capatalist society at all...

Set aside all normal considerations of an intelligent sentient being on this planet...

But...

I mean - you COULD theoretically have an intelligent discussion with conservatives, and then proceed from there...

But...

THESE IDIOTS ARE SERIOUSLY BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY AT THIS CRITICAL POINT IN TIME?!!!

Really?!!!

Seriously?!!!

Think back a few years - no make that many years - a few decades...

There used to be serious people debating and talking about serious policies - from monarchy to communism, and all points in between...

And now, we have this "assemblage" that wouldn't even be taken seriously in Grade School!!!

I know about "Bread & Circuses" and all, but -

Seriously?!!!

GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!

On edit:

I am thoroughly ashamed and disgusted with my country and the direction we're heading at the moment. We are have become a stranglehold of the KKK/Repuke Party - hence my original moniker "Amerikkka". Some persons here really have issue with it, and that's tough is my visceral reaction - but after the consideration to avoid turning off potential allies in our struggles for a better world, I have decided that it is better for the bigger picture to heed their concerns. So I have altered the heading in spite of what I feel. YEAH CENSORSHIP!!!

They aren't being taken seriously except by GOP idiot supporters. Even though Obama is hovering from 40%-45% approval, he is beating every GOP contender.

Yeah, we all know it is a joke. Even a lot of the general public does too.

If you yourself want to be taken more seriously, don't spell Amerikkka like this.

Essentially, Obama has the next election in the bag.

That's mainly what I was referring to - but the rest of them didn't disappoint either.

If Perry's performance didn't happen, then there would have been others who would have "risen to the top" as it were...

Well, you sound like a moron. You're the one who has to deal with that.

Can you spell America correctly please. It's really annoying and we all know why certain people spell it 'Amerikka'. It's juvenile and doesn't really do anything for anyone except rile people who should be comrades up.

It's also ironic that you post a thread with a deliberately mis-spelt title and then use that thread to laugh (rightly, I must add) at the idiocy of the current crop of Republican candidates.

It's called commentary and well deserved satire and ridicule.

Juvenile - hardly...

And people wonder why others are afaid of the left with their insistance to control THOUGHTS...I think that would be a bigger concern...

But I've heeded your point anyway after some reflection, in spite of what I genuinely feel as what I see around me on a daily basis - a racist, bigoted and homophobic country that is more likely to decend into facsism than socialism...

No it's just that it's usually only Maoists-Third Worldists and such who write like that any you don't want people to think of you as one, innit?

It is genuinely scary that people like this actually have a chance of becoming president.

Remember, Herman Cain still has a chance! :(

While Obama is not the shining white knight he was perceived by as many during the last election, he now lacks any serious opposition. There's no McCain this time.

I was asking you to spell the word in a way that doesn't suggest Maoist-Third-Worldist leanings, not trying to control your thoughts. And yeah, the whole 'AmeriKKKa' thing is juvenile.

Anyway, that the US is everything you say should only feed your hunger to desire a correct class analysis of society.

Take a look around you. Where are the Fascist Occupy movements? Socialism is living and breathing on the streets of America, it just hasn't been realised yet.

Not at all. Nobody is going to try to prevent you sounding like a fool. Only tell you. If you are hell bent on presenting yourself as a foolish teenage boy then who am I to continue trying to stop you?

As for being humourless, apparently you are correct. I see very little funny in adding "k's" to the word 'America'. I did briefly consider laughing at you, as opposed to with you, but I thought that would be cruel.
