I need ideas for a paper on Media

For my final writing assignment in my English class, I am required to write an argument on the effects of media.

Is there any way I can relate Marxism or left-wing thought towards positive/negative effects of media?

I haven't gotten the prompt yet, but she's been talking about this for a while now, so I'll just put this up ahead of time. I will post the prompt once I receive it.

Manufacturing Consent is the obvious one yeah.
