I am currently a high school student living in West Virginia, who happened to stumble upon this forum the other day. For the past few years I have developed my own leftist beliefs, and have struggled to find people who share the same thoughts as myself in my area. I have grown sick of the way that capitalism leads to a feeling of hopelessness through subservience to corporate interests. I also grew frustrated with the lack of understanding by my peers as to what communism truly is, rather than what it has been made out to be through years of propaganda. I joined in the hope that I could improve my knowledge on the subject so that I may come to influence others in the world around me.

So I like to say a big hello to all members of the forum and I hope to get to know the community in the near future!

Hey! I am also new here and share your plight. I'm a high-school student in Texas, so you can imagine how THAT turns out.
