I suppose hating on Muslim foreigners is the "in" thing everywhere in Europe these days.

Serbs are vanguard regarding hating Muslims. :D

Now, without jokes. This action is more 90's and war related then "immigration". Serbian nationalists hate Muslims, because of Kosovo and Bosnia. Also, I don't think that there are much immigrants in Serbia, because immigrants usally go somwhere where can they work and in Serbia there's no job for anyone.

Serbia doesn't really have much immigrants,there's less than 1% of immigrants in the overall population,IIRC.
It was a protest held in some small town where the center for asylum seekers is located.Asylum seekers can be allowed to immigrate or can be deported back to where they came from.

But really, why the fuck would anyone immigrate to Serbia?
There's several reasons and there are people emigrating to Serbia even from comparatively better-off countries.
Anyway most of these asylum seekers are,from what i know,people who tried to emigrate to the EU but got caught on the Serbian border.

Well Tir its true that Serbs emigrate as much as they can to Holland, Russia, England and France. I can't give you sources for that, because I know that from media (TV), personal contacts and some statistics I saw long time ago.

People form these parts who go to West have all sorts of problem. My relatives changed their names and surname into English version, because of some crap from Brits.

Serbians here have the stigma of all being in serious organized crime, I guess being labeled a heroin dealing hitman is in a way a step up from cocaine dealing rapist (antilians), knife stabbing purse snatcher (maroccans) or psychotic murderer/pickpocketter (any refugee)...
Aren't we white dutch charming welcoming liberal minded people...
