I'm thinking of being a dirty propagandist in light of the 94th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, and making a video to illuminate its actual history. I want to connect it with OccupyWallStreet, among other things...

Anybody who has knowledge of the revolution superior to mine and video making skills superior to mine is welcome (and don't be a Stalinist because the narrative would be that things basically turned to shit after the Civil War ended and especially after Lenin died). I want to do this shit. We need to occupy the airwaves as well as the streets.

Anything that gets people talking seriously about communism without going whaaaaaaaaaaaat is worth doing, IMO. I'm tired of libertarians occupying and dominating the internets.

I'd help but my knowledge is not up to par.

Read

"A very short introduction to the russian revolution".

10 bucks, and a very good and objective (as far as that goes) presentation of facts/zeitgeist/witnesses/politcal intrigues.

do it.

If its intended for a public audience and its goal is to be informative then I suggest taking a few pointers from the Mark Steel lectures on this one. Its funny, easy to listen to and informative.
