Leon Trotsky was a true communist a true marxist. Not like Stalin. Stalin betrayed the revolution by his aggressive polices against the people his protection of the state the creation of a diplomatic elite.
Trotsky was Lenins chosen sucessor. Trotsky was Lenins friend. Lenin hated Stalin.
Lenin and Trotsky devised left opposition in theory to combat stalinism, but lenin died before trotsky set it up.
Socialism in country has failed. Look at what it has done to Russia with the capitalists restored.
Permanent revolution is the only key to communist success. If revolution is to happen in Ireland it would need Britain to follow suit like wise in russia the Ukraine would be need same with germany france would be needed.
Today Trotskyism is daily getting stronger. We stand against the capitalists with proper policies.
Trotsky was a hero. Stalinists have tried and failed to destroy his name. They will never suceed simply because Trotsky was a true Marxist a true communist.
In his testament he wrote:
I shall die a proletarian revolutionist, a Marxist, a dialectical materialist, and, consequently, an irreconcilable atheist.
Workers of the world unite!

I'm a Council Communist but I have sympathies with the ideas of Trotsky.
The problem is, most of the "Communist" Parties support Stalins ideas and see Kruschevs ideas as "Betrayal" and Trokskys ideas as "Pie in the Sky." even though both were supperior ideas.

Comrade firstly i would like to say that the 5th international is under way. And the only way to support the 5th international is by creating leftist websites showing movements around the world
Secondly Can some1 name me 3 points about Khrushev which were bad?
Comrade Kamo

from a Stalinist (Nazi) standpoint.
1. He condemned Stalin.
2. He wanted to go back to Capitalism for wanting reform.
3. He wanted peace.
now if you're not a Stalinist you can't think of any

Im just wondering, (since i am a little ignorant on te subject) what was Trotsky's (and Lenin's also) views in comparision to Marx. I have read a lot of basic stuff, but suprisingly I havent read much on Lenin and Trotsky. I've lately been reading general stuff on socialism, communism, Marxism, etc. If ya could jsut tell me a little i'd appreciate it very much.

Trotsky and Lenin firmly believed in permanent revolution, they were also keen supporters of marxism. Marx is the inspiration of Lenin and Trotsky in that Lenin wrote many books about him as did trotsky in his review of the communist manifesto.
I think Kruschev however was a bureaucrat and to an extent a mild stalinist if you look at what happened in the Ukraine under his leadership. Although i do agree with the policy of de stalinisation.
But i firmly think that if Trotsky had of come to power in 1927 our world would be different.
For example: the Spanish Revolution would have been a success. Stalin wasnt interested in it. The weapons he supplied were of poor quality. He was more interested in surpressing the Trotskyists and anarcists rather than the nazis. there is also a rumour that he wanted the Franco gold supply placed in the wealty soviet bank in Paris.
If Trotsky had of been in power during the inter war years we would have seen no Nazi soviet pact (an imperialist deal with the devil) and the success of the spanish revolution. I may even go so far to say that we might have lived in a communist Europe!
Workers of the World Unite! We have nothing to lose but a world to win.

I wholeheartly agree with you, comrade. In spite of my relatively small knowledge, I consider myself a trotskyst as well.
Stalin is the real answer for the question "why did the USSR fail and fall?". He betrayed the 1917 revolution and the principles of Marx and Lenin, only to build a state capitalism based in murder, opression, paranoia and bureaucracy. Khruschev did a nice job in destalinizing the Soviet Union from 1956 on, but little could be done to avoid the failure of the soviet experiment, it was already too late.
However, I disagree with Kruschev's decision to accept peace with the capitalist world. There can be no peace with the imperialist warlords until they're eliminated and our revolution is sucessful. Socialism is meant to be worldwide, achieved with a permanent revolution. "One-country" socialism is counterfeit socialism.
