Don't normally get as excited as others about the Attenborough documentaries but (having watched on episode) am really liking this one. Just the epic expanse of ice and emptiness really gets to me and I have to say penguins, polar bears, wolves are all top animals. Anyone been locked in?

Yup...it is a freaking amazing documentary !
if you have the chance try and watch it in full hidef and blueray....
A friend of mine bought the documentary on blueray and put it on last week. It blew me away.
Offcourse us all being slightly stoned and wasted helped a lot to accomplish three guys sitting on a couch going: "whooah" constantly....

Massive Attenborough fan, always have been since I was a child. I have only seen episode 1 of Frozen Planet cause I don't live in the UK anymore and the proxy programme I use for iPlayer can be a bit slow sometimes. Gonna try to watch the next one later when everyone is asleep and the internet is faster.
I loooved The Life of Mammals, probably one of my favourites. Wasn't a big fan of the one about the sea that he did, but then it was all just blackness with the occasional luminescent sea-freak floating past. I really don't care much about what lives in the sea.
Also for anyone who likes Attenborough in general (and his lovely voice), he has an audio documentary called Life Stories which is really good - he talks about loads of strange creatures he's seen, and different stories on how they found them or filmed them or whatever. I had it on whilst I was working the other day and it kept me in a relaxed state all day.
