LOL, the amount of times the international bourgesie and their lackeys keep on spouting out those words 'Western Democracy and Freedom' it's no wonder they haven't choked yet.
I wish you luck in 'getting the word out' and all CR but I cant say it makes any difference. Every political porgramme or discussion type show where any one remotly 'leftist' begins to sepak out and expose what's going on that person is victim to a hail of accusations, lies and most of all a quick changing of the subject or delibaretly made to look like a heartless monster. What's most annoying is that after your victim to all of that you should be thankful that you have the 'freedom' to speak out in our 'estern democracy'.
Hell George Galloway was accused of being a 'Stalinist' just this morning. Although Galloway is not a Marxist-Leninist or revolutionary of any type what so ever he is a progressive whose stood up against Imperialism. Something which should be applauded. The bourgesie through it's state machinery, i.e media and such has launched a bruatl black propaganda campaighn against the man.
Galloway even defends the UN which is responsible for the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children (on the subject of the UN being bombed he described it as 'terriorism'). Despite this fact that Galloway offers no real explanations of Imperialism and it's workings, i.e Marxism whenever he begins to point out the facts about Iraq over the last ten years and what he has actually said and why he is victim of delibaretly being made3 to appear like a murderer.
My opinion is that it's a vain and frutiless task trying to 'win people over' through the bourgesie insitutions (that's why we smash it and build up a proletarian one) simply because you wont.

I think communists need to involve themselves with people in order to win them, to ignore all 'bourgesie insitutions' would be ultra-leftism. Even if one person reads a comment you make and starts to think about it then it's a victory.

Oh I dont think it's right to ignore 'all bourgesie institutions', and would be ultra-leftist sectarianism to disregard them all. My view is that you ain't gonna get anywhere through one of their most powerful state machines, the media. Look at Galloway, look at Charvez in Venezuala. And these guys aren't even Communists.
Lenin once said something about the Bourgesie having their own newspapers funded by well the bourgesie, a proleterian newsapaper is funded by guess who?

With regard to BBC's "Have Your Say", I've tried half a dozen times or so to get a comment in without success. I suspect they receive thousands of comments and only publish a handful...your odds are just awful.
Many bourgeois papers have message boards and I sometimes (if I'm not busy) insert a zinger now and then. I was banned by one daily newspaper after two posts...but I've tried others.
You can't really have "dialogs" like you can on real message boards...but a little effort might reach a few dozen folks.
