If you don't find them, you can try to get a flag of the Second Spanish Republic, which is very similar and is sold everywhere in Spain. In fact, for most leftists it's our flag, not the monarchist one.

Meh, I'm not really into tattoos. Although I think they are cool, I just couldn't see myself getting one.

I second this, they're everywhere but watch who you get yours from. The shopkeep in Toledo made quite the face when I asked for the flag with the "franja morada." ;)

It's a pity how the Spanish right is rearming itself ideologically. Far-right newspapers, books, TV channels... All of them saying how good was Franco saving us from the democratic Republic, and some people believing it.

Anyway, I thank you for the social labour you did that day. Spanish people place a lof of importance to foreigners' opinion on us, so that man will have been so impressed with you wanting the three-coloured flag.
