I was wondering what people on che-lives study and how their political views are reflected on their studies. Since that way we would know wich minds are here and of who we maybe will hear more about in the nearbye future ;)

Started university this year; History (possibly changing to History / Politics joint honours if I can be bothered)
I did History, English, Maths and Physics at A2.
Physics was a waste of space (haha, no pun intended :D ) - far too easy.
Maths was easy - except for P3 module!!!
English and History were just essay after essay after essay...

I'm in college, a shitty one but I'm transferring (ever heard of IU, that big party school, imagine it's bastard child, IU East). Anyway, I'm currently majoring in Political Science but I may change that to world history, and if I get the chance minor in Journalism.
This semester I took US History (a good challenge), Math (easy), English (best class I've had, but plenty of essays and papers), and this really stupid class on how to read college textbooks so you can retain more information, mostly rubbish, but it did have some useful stuff.
Next semester I'm taking the next step in Math and English, but I'm also taking Sociology and US after World War II, so that should be a good semester.

I'm going for my B.Hums (Humanities), in first year almost through first term. Basically the history of humanity through religion, myth, literature, and art with a bit of politics on the side. I'm in the "elite" College of the Humanities which means little more than all of our essays must be based in primary documents and we are reading such texts as the Upanisads and the Hebrew bible this yaer (that no where near it all...and books are expensive!).
I plan, at the moment, to have only the single major (that is, humanities) and no minor, although a minor in Spanish is looking appealing right now.

I am in the early years of college. I am most likely to major in history, though I have not ruled out sociology or political science... I plan to get a PhD in whichever of these I decide on.

I am an International studies and Business Administration major at Wheeling Jesuit Univeristy in Wheeling, WV USA. It is a liberal university although most of the school is crap the political science department is awesome. Its nice to have a group of profs against Bush and his policies. Can you believe I actually had a teahcer tell me, "you are a little too pro-human rights". Damn business professors!
