This question is complicated by the scattered nature of the occupations and the fluctuations in their attendance. Not quite sure how to get an empirically sound estimate of the number of participants nationwide. Nevertheless, this question still keeps squirming around in my mind so I guess I'll ask you all. How would you rate Occupy participation relative to the anti-globalization protests of the early years of the last decade?
