I was wondering if...

A) Someone could share methods aside from Tor-related junk for discovering hidden websites.

B) Share some of these sites on the deep web themselves. If you don't want to share the links on a public forum like this, you could always PM me.

No illegal junk of course.

I'm mostly interested in discussion boards or sites with interesting DIY information, or other guides. But feel free to share whatever you're willing to share. I'd also be interested in sites that pertain to the Los Angeles metropolitan area, or more locally the San Fernando Valley area. Or sites related to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, or anywhere in between. I have an interest in "underground" local sites, and the like.

Last I was on there were radical leftist groups operating on sites in the deep-web.

Yeah, the deep web has some pretty cool stuff. Sadly, I've no other method for you to try and use to get on the deep web

What is the Deep Web?

The gigantic part of the web you can't normally access through regular search engines.

That sounds interesting! :D What kind of stuff is on it? Is it illegal to access the Deep Web?

I2P is faster and, to an extent, more secure than Tor. It doesn't allow exit nodes (in most situations) to the public internet, so when you use it it's sandboxed.

The neat thing is it has anonymized email accessible from the main control panel. you end up with an @i2pmail.com address and as long as you don't mail it to or from an account that's associated with you it's fairly secure. It'll have the FBI scratching their heads.

No it's not illegal, but it's not exactly a fun place. Most of it is loaded with child porn, guides on how to lure kids, etc. Although, you have your online black markets which are useful. You just gotta know where to find things I guess. You should definitely secure your system like fort knox before trying though, I've had people come knocking on my firewall before :P

It sounds like the ghetto of the internet, haha. Is it easy to access? I probably won't try it because I have no idea what I am doing but I am just curious, can just like anyone get on this?

There's guides online that I'm sure you can find, you need a bit of technical know how to set it up and get it running, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. Also, considering something like Tor isn't completely anonymous and can be traced, doing the wrong thing can get you in trouble.

More exactly, the deep web is full of child pornography, people buying drugs and weapons with bitcoins, and various other things that can be summed up as "fucked up shit." But then of course, there's a lot of cool stuff out there.
