What are the thoughts here on De Leonism?

I started out in De Leonism about two decades ago. Its syndicalist elements continue to influence me, but it also could be a sectarian tendency and the idea that socialism could be achieved by a victory at the polls backed by the power of socialist unions was naive (the polls part).
