Hello, I'm a student in Bristol, UK and have recently become more politically active. I took part in the student demonstrations here last year but I only really started becoming more adamant about my positions after following both Greece and, particularly, Chile where student demonstrations have lasted for almost half a year and makes my own activism seem petty in comparison.

While I don't consider myself particularly well read in regards to much of the theory behind socialism, communism and anarchism, I am reading around the subject to educate myself better in order to help convey my ideas to others as well. My favourite piece of theory has to come from Adorno and Horkheimer, mainly their ideas surrounding the 'Culture Industry' and the 'massification of culture' which is a subject that interests me greatly.

cheers,

Struggle is the best way to learn. If you are active, become more active! If you aren't active, then become active!

Reading never hurts though.

Welcome!
