I first met Wade Oz about 12 years ago. I was really into the 4AD music. And of course turned him onto it as well. You can definately hear the Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, and This Mortal Coil influence on his track on Mp3.com
His CD is amazing. You can get a small taste of it on his site. I'm hoping he will come forward and start performing live soon.
His band consists of "guest" players for different songs and instruments. He basically lays down all the tracks himself and then "hires" those who can bring to the table what HE invisions. Its beautiful. Its deep, its pure and mostly the music is so enlightening, you will feel yourself being lifted from this plane. I know, it happens everytime I'm in the same room with the man!
Take the time to listen to it, not just hear it.
