What's wrong with David Harvey's class on Capital Volume 1 (http://davidharvey.org/reading-capital/)

Mine's 15 minutes, and talks about dildos along with using humorous Marxist puppetry.
As for actual criticisms, Harvey just seems boring and I honestly didn't understand Capital through listening to him at all, the way he talks about stuff just doesn't jive with me, so I imagine that's the case for other people too.

I agree that the way he explains things is boring, but some of his clarifications/explanations have helped me a bit. I'd enjoy a humorous Marxist puppetry a lot more. :)

Doesn't he get bored of reading the same book to the class every single year for more than 30 years?

You figure he would but this is the same dilemma I encounter with all educators: how don't they get bored? The thrill of never knowing when you will be fired because of uninvolved parents complaints?

I think in one of those classes he said something along the lines of getting a new perspective each time (depending on the students as well)

Absolute rubbish. Think you should fire the producer as the production value is shocking.
Really, it was pretty good and simple to understand. Thanks for making it.

Anyone investing blind faith in Harvey’s theory should take into account the Marxist criticisms of his work, such as this one (http://libcom.org/library/review-david-harveys-limits-capital-paul-mattick-jr).
