It's easy enough to sack folks in the UK as is. Anyway the Tory leadership have already knocked this shite on the head for now (give em a few years once they have finished pillaging the NHS & welfare I'm sure it'll be brought up again)

We already did that, over here. I think it's probably made a muddle of how many people are on UE, since the lines are no longer so clear (as to whether a person was rightfully let go.

It's funny, all the "both sides against the middle" stuff going on over here. They want to fire people all the time, so they can bring in new people on the cheap - but they want to cut unemployment.

They should just take all the old, infirm and weak, stick them on an ice floe and ship them out to sea.

Do we have ice floes anymore, or did the global warming get them all?
