EG desire to be sexually attracted to males, they can do so, or desire to be sexually attracted to females, or just one person, or nobody at all.

A human?
I don't mean control their actions on such attractions, but controlling the attractions themselves.
EG a person can DECIDE whether or not they find men/women/oneperson/anybodyatall attractive

Bisexual?
I believe Bisexuals are attracted to both male and female and have no choice in the matter. Plus I'm including the idea of attraction to solely one person.

Its probably a complicated mixture of pheromones, brain structure, social conditioning, subconscious drives, and a small amount of willpower. I know of gay people who tried to become straight and one straight person who tried to become homosexual. On the otherhand sexual orientation can unexpectedly change. I know several lesbians who thought they were straight until well into their 30s.
A former co-worker was homosexual but would develop momentary crushes on women.
Human sexuality is very complicated. There is a difference between emotions and sexual attraction.I don't think we can consciously control our sexual orientation but we can control our individual feelings for a person. It may be possible to make yourself fall in love with a specific person, although I've never tried it.

I would consider it a variation of pansexuality ... or something along those lines. Although I'm interested if there's a specific term for this.
Like Lenina said ... human sexuality is extremely complicated. I personally think we should abandon labels for 'sexuality' and just all consider ourselves human. People are attracted to people, not genders. Attempting to label and (effectively) separate one another based on imaginary differences is damn near reactionary IMO. Although, I can see how keeping labels like transsexual, homosexual, and bisexual can be useful in the short term for advocating LGBT rights and educating people away from discriminatory and reactionary viewpoints ...
Nice avatar. I haven't listened to Acid Bath in ages.

If I could desire to be sexually attracted to x, from where came my desire for that desire?
You don't choose desires - desires are what make you choose, and it's through choice we express our desires.
If your desire to be attracted was successful, then it's simply you realising being attracted was itself a desire all along - in which case you hardly chose it.
