To be honest, I had quite the pessimistic view of this "Occupy" movement from the beginning. I doubted they would even stick it out for too long or even be enough of them to get noticed. This was probably due to my disappointment in American protests in the past, and a doubt in the resolve of the American public to fight the system in an effective manner. Granted, this protest isn't near the scale of the ones in Athens with the left taking direct action against the class enemies. However, I believe that much of this previous inaction is a result of the Americans being generally new to the type of ideas that may be floating around at the protests.
Anyways, I would like to say that I regret not believing in the movement from the onset, however I remain skeptical that much will be done. Either way, this is in a sense an apology for my initial mistrust and doubts in the movement.
Please don't disappoint me comrades.
