As I understand Mansoor Hekmat, an Iranian Marxist, and his followers, formed two organizations which more or less follow his teachings. One of these was the Worker's Communist Party, and the other a Kurdish group. The Kurdish group devolved into Kurdish nationalism, as I understand although Hekmat himself was anti-nationalist.
WCP had a split in the early 2000s, with most members leaving to form the Worker Communist Party of Iran (WCPI)
The Hekmatists today are exile based with the center of the movement in the UK. What is their line? As I understand they are anti-Stalinist but do not like Trotsky either. They seem to be very "Islamophobic" (perhaps understandable given their situation) and a group in the UK was actually contemplating a Koran burning 6 or 7 months ago.
Are their "Western Hekmatists" or is this movement strictly Iranian based?
I could not figure out a lot from their various English language websites.
