Hot on the heels of massive protests and riots in Rome the PRC is meeting in early November for its congress. The party seems to be on a bit of an upswing. It's supporting mass movements and being critical of Berlusconi's austerity but of the Democratic Party as well and no longer seems to want to enter centre left governments. Though please correct me if I'm wrong I don't know all the nuances of the party's situation. I've also read that Genova Regional Secretary Paolo Scarabelli is endorsing Falce Martello's (IMT) document at the congress and that FM is really the only ones offering up an alternative to Paolo Ferrero's majority. Knowing about the IMT's politics I can imagine what the document probably entails. That being said anyone have more details and explain to me what's going on, if there are any other opposition documents and if PRC and the Federation of the Left are on the right track or at least doing better than they were 2 years ago?
Thanks!
