Here's something I need to say:
I hate people. No, really.
In fact, I despise Misanthropes who whine about humanity being inherently bad or antisocial. That's bullshit. Humanity, I believe, is morally neutrally and takes opinions and stances through environment. People are inherently whatever; and blaming the whole of humanity for your issues is utter bullshit. Elites, the state, and capitalism are to blame for every stinking political issue, and it promises to end the world itself.
And people just suck it up. Working people are largely fiscal conservative, the Western Europeans are blaming muslims rather than capitalists for their neoliberal induced recession, etc. etc.
I'm a black person and anti-islamophobe.
I have to stay away from looking at any comments of any popular website; as I know I will be assaulted with racism and/or Islamophobic bigotry. I will hear cries of "PC Thuggery/Liberulism!!!", quaintly placed in the middle of a tirade against some scientifically meaningless taxonomy of humanity.
It's become so endemic that I ritualistically make every YouTube video fullscreen, regardless of whether it even has comments. And its not just YouTube, it's everywhere.
I've unconsciously dehumanized Europeans, becoming racist myself. In fact, when I saw that a user was European, I somehow became disturbed by that fact and contemplated PMing him whether he was an islamophobe. I don't think I, as a black american, should be the type to stereotype based on ethnicity.
Whenever there's a debate on black wealth inequality, a racial slur is sure to follow. Whenever there's a condemnation of Islamophobia, 500 pages of Islamopobia are sure to follow.
In fact, this led me to my reactionary anti-democratic views, I once believed that man was inherently stupid and arrogantly assumed that I, and a select group of others, were somehow an exception and truly fit to rule. (I still consider myself very critical of democracy despite studying anarchism; It's hard to change when evidence against democracy is one click away)
I believe that knowledge has a revolutionizing effect on people, and an Anarcho-communist revolution would precede a long, long process of mass education.
However, some people are just averse to knowledge. I'm sure Western Europeans would stop being so islamophobic if they were educated, and I'm sure people would stop being so anti-black/latino if they were educated. I'm sure the whole of conservatism would be eradicated through an adequate education.
But what about far-right? People who pride themselves on dismissing every single facet of knowledge as proof of a vast left wing "liberal" conspiracy and create a cottage industry of pseudo-knowledge (WNs, Christian Fundamentalists, Reaganites, Cultural Conservatives, Libertarians, etc.).
Would there be revolutionary terror in instances such as these (Jailing dissidents at least, executing people at worse)
