I was watching it and was enjoying what Ron Paul said about US foreign policy, but then Bachmann said something along the lines of "Iraq should reimburse The United States for liberating them."
The sad thing was people in the audience actually took her seriously, while I don't think Bachmann will get elected, it makes me sad that so many Americans are taking her seriously.

Wow that is so crazy, we really need to fix politics... I can't believe that somebody could say that, there's no way she believes in such a rediculous idea.

"Free-markets"=liberation to the capitalists mind so it actually has some consistency. Like when Pinochet liberated Chile from Allende...

Yeah, it's just more bullshit from the ruling elite. I hold out hope that this isn't a view carried by the majority of Americans, and since it was mentioned at the Republican debate...well, what more can you honestly expect?

I watched it. Man, Rick Perry went hard for the hood in that debate. I thought that he was literally going to punch Mitt Romney in the face at one point. That would've made my entire year.
I loved it when all those blowhards were saying that they wouldn't negotiate with terrorists, and Ron Paul brought up the fact that Reagan had traded arms to the "rogue nation" of Iran in exchange for hostages. That was such a great moment, almost enough to make me like Ron Paul.

Aw, now I wish I'd seen that. That would've made the whole thing worth it. :(

I watched some of it. Perry calling Cain brother was fucking annoying. What was even more annoying is watching Perry put together a complicated sentence.
I saw when Perry was about to hit Romney. He would've been in his right to do so because Romney was talking down to him and even put his hand on his shoulder. Romney is so condescending.

Yes. Just reconfirmed my opinion that Ron Paul is the only 'big candidate' I would vote for.
His free market philosophy is exactly WHY everyone else in the government and the corporations fight him tooth and nail- state supported capitalism is what the US has now and it suits them just fine while screws the rest of us.

I thoroughly agree that Afghanistan and Iraq were merely props with which the ruling elite are spreading Imperialism by proxy. It sucks, wish America would wake up to it.

And, oh, what luck, the Iraq war is over. Now let's wait another eight years for Guantanamo to close and Bradley Manning to get released...oh, wait, that happened under Obama's watch. Bachmann is a ****, who I will now quote by saying Anderson whenever I want something from someone smarter than me.
