Namely, how does one (in your opinion) classify these sorts of military cross-border actions when undertaken by third-world nations such as Kenya? Does the threat of militancy hold water as a justification? Can this be classified as imperialist? Etc, etc.

Eh I haven't read everything about it yet, but so far I can see it as partially justified. Somalia is going to hell at the moment. Still, should watch this closely and see what's going to happen.

No wars are justified. It's always the same workers forced to fight other workers for someone else's profits.

I think this invasion is at least partly justified. al-Shabab are legitmately scum bags and have been kidnapping/murdering people inside of Kenya, so I'm not sure what people expect the Kenyans to do? Just sit back and hope the lunatics that are carving out their own little statelet voluntarily quit?
