According to the article the Canon of St Paul's Cathedral asked the police to move on and said he had no problem with the protesters.

So at least there's one Christian/religious person who is not a blood-crazed, rightwing, bible thumping, xenophobic, snake-handling, primitive minded, medieval bigot as is usually made out.....;)

Who ever claimed that? Hundreds of millions of workers are religious.
