Are there any leftist militia/survivalist groups in existence? I'd think there'd be at least a couple.

Wouldn't recommend forming one or joining one, unless you want to be hounded by the FBI/DHS for the rest of your life.

Though I don't think it's a particularly good idea to form one, it wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea, so long as it doesn't get too crazy. I can definitely see the benefits of having a group of leftists in a fit state to do actions.

Closest we got was the Black Panthers. FARC is pretty much a gang, it's degenerated so much. leftist militias... i can see why right wing thought would dictate that being a good idea, however the working class arming itself would itself be the militia in a true revolution.

What we will need are armed groups of workers linked most likely to the unions.

Put it out of your mind. At this period, it's adventurism, and anyone trying to recruit you to such a group is probably a cop.

People really can't be rallied for progressive movements run by angry and truly violent people anyways. Reactionaries almost count on it though. We want to persuade, not manipulate.
