I eat meat. And I won't stop.

I am from northerin germany. I came into the left scene owing to the antifa.
The scene here is either marxist-leninist, antideutsch(pro-israel antifas), or antinational, or gegenstandpunkt. frankfurt school influneced are everywhere but most of them are antideutsch(anti-german). there are several anticommunist anarchists who dont eat meat. I like anarchists, who arent anticommunist, even if they dont eat meat.

I am antinational/gegenstandpunkt, means that I think it is not enough to critizise the surplus value, because that critique ends up in yugoslawia.
I am against nations and any nationalism, because it is an ideology which makes people work for things which are not in their interest. Therefore I am both against Israel and palestine nationalists( to prevent this question).

I am against imperialism, therefore I have symphathies for every communist movement all over the world. I dont think that communism is possible in one country, because of imperialism.

I like the groups Junge Linke gegen Kapital und Nation(some texts in english, because of the group in London), Gegenstandpunkt(some texts in english, norway, and spanish).

Unfortunately I am not organized. I live in the middle of nowhere.

Hallo und willkommen!

Why so much emphasis on eating/not eating meat stuff? Have some vegans been harassing you or something?

I eat meat too, but why is it that you care so much about who eats meat and who doesn't.

It is good to have a anti-nationalist on here. Far too many people neglect the importance of principled anti-nationalism and that the communist project is about the abolition of value.

I have met people from the Junge Linke group in London, I think what they have published has been good, especially there text on anti-nationalism. Which might be a translation from German I'm not sure.

The meat is not so important to me, but very important to the anarchists in northern germany. for example you get house forbade, if you enter the rote flora squat with meat.

The "even if" sentence is a joke. May everyone eat whatever he wants. I even like some vegan stuff.

Great to hear that Android! Most of my comrades told me there were only trotzkists in Britain, nothing else.

Yeah Trotskyism is really strong in Britain. Although Trot groups are not as big as they were in the 1970's and they have a mind-numbingly low level of political education, with the consequence with most of them driven by the logic of activism (i.e. activity for its own sake).

However, there is a rather small ultra-left milieu in Britain that takes questions such as value theory and the analysis of the state-form seriously, but it is tiny!

Welcome to the forum!

I think I can forgive you. I dont deny that there are lots of cool anarchists, vegan or not.

Hope you'll get more, Android.

Is there anywhere in the world where the non-Marxist-Leninist (be it Stalinist, Trotskyist or Leninist) communists are the majority?

Not a trick question, though maybe a silly one.

I suspect the Netherlands. Small anarchist movement, smaller Marxist movements.

I wonder if that is anything to do with Left Communist (and critiques of 'Bolshevism') influence from the past? Or perhaps it is more due to other social, economic and political reasons?

Actually we got two Marxist-Lenist parties here the NCPN and the VCP, the latter being a splinter party of the former. The first has seats in 2 municipalities and the second has seats in 1. Apart from them there are no real mayor communist movements or organisations.

We do have quite a few anarchists, because of the squatters here, but those ain't anarcho-commies per se.

Also on topic: Hiya and welcome
