On Saturday 8 October 2011, a day before the 44th commemoration of Ernesto Che Guevara's murder in Bolivia, a new website was launched dedicated to the marxist argentine revolutionary. The Greek Archives of Che Guevara © Guevaristas consists an effort to collect, edit and expose material about one of the greatest figures in Latin American history. Guevaristas, founded by political scientist Nicolas Mottas, is the first comprehensive website about 'Che' in Greek language.
The website contains biographical notes of Guevara, detailed chronology of events, articles in both Greek and English language, archival material and an electronic encyclopedia - called 'Chepedia'. The site will be under continuous renewal in order to include every possible information about Che, translated also in Greek.
