By which i mean works where military officials, politicians, or any insiders expose capitalism, war, the media, or racism similar to the famous speech "war is a racket" by Major General Smedley Butler or Lee Atwater's quote on racism being used to gain voters?

I second The Idler's suggestion of All Quiet on the Western Front, as well as it's lesser known sequel, The Road Back. As you can probably guess, those two focus primarily around the futility of war, at least the kind engaged in by imperialists. Both are pretty easy reads, and the former is widely available in all book stores.
