After love then, educating people (especially about communism:p), reading good books, writing(when I am in the mood), playing games (strategy or rpg mainly), good food...and much more.

Ohh and sex with my love :thumbup1:

I don't normally thank your posts but I'll be thanking this one

Bacon, ham, and all other forms/derivatives of pork are the single greatest things ever. They are what I fucking live for. Fuck working class revolution, gimme some fucking pig meat. If any trendy vegan wanker wants to take that away from me then they've got another thing coming.

I'll take that above as a compliment. But thank me more often from now on. M'kay.

And i agree about that vegan thing, don't take my delicious meat away from me... But more than working class revolution? Hell no, especially because meat and other products will be better quality under a Communist society.

3 Things to add:

Communism. Nice Technology. Pleasure.

Not to shit on anybody's parade or anything, but didn't you make some crap post (http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2253665&postcount=3) claiming that speciesists are "shitty RevLeft-users who deserve to be banned"? Not sure if you know what being antispe actually entails, but...yeah...

La Sombra, thanks for proving me right that you really are an idiot...

Eating meat has nothing to do with being a speciesist, that is related to horrible treating of other animals.

Ohh and the only crap posts is yours, pure trolling and none contributing.

Beyond translating Trotskyist political articles from Spanish to English, and translating poetry by obscure authors, from Yiddish to English, the best thing in life is a tall plastic cup of ice-cold black tea, diluted with plenty of skim milk, and a cherry danish on the side. Yum!

hatzel

And racism is related to hitting people of ethnic minorities on the head with a stick, but they're not synonymous; the former is a much deeper system which may or may not manifest itself as the latter, but as the absence of cracked ethnic minority heads does not prove the absence of racism, so the absence of (non-human) animal cruelty does not prove the absence of speciesism.

If you wish to get involved with antispe, by all means do - we can't exactly afford to turn people away! - but please ensure you are fully aware of what these fundamental terms mean.

Weed. Fried Chicken. Blowjobs. Football. Cider on summer days. Being part of a massive fucking protest movement. My dog. My friends (sometimes!). Punk Rock & Bruce Springsteen.

Not necessarily in that order. In fact probably not in that order at all!

For a person like me who seems incapable of falling in love for some reason (I haven't in at least 15 years), and happens to be a political fanatic, it must be the feeling of comradeship. Singing the Internationale together with a large crowd of comrades almost my heart explode of joy.

Also the feeling of success/victory, especially in the context of politics. This said, I sure do also enjoy the good things in life; good food, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol etc, sex too although it's overrated, but they take a secondary place and don't create nearly as much satisfaction.

I really like Rusty Shackleford's post: Coffee and cigarettes in the morning, beer and cigarettes in the evening -- brilliant. I would agree that these are the best things of everyday life, that make it sufferable. Ok I might not drink beer every single evening but often enough so, yeah.

Love, laughter, friendship, sex, snuggling, music, cooking, being helpful, dancing...

Big pleasures and simple pleasures. I think the simple pleasures may be even more important. They're a much bigger part of your experience, in terms of frequency. How you respond to the little things, whether you appreciate and enjoy them or not, is going to shape your life. If you can't find pleasure in many of the little everyday things, you're just not going to have much pleasure.
