THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL APPRECIATION THREAD!. Sorry for the cruise control caps, didn't want to get banned as the result of an over sight. I figured we could all use some lulz.

This is not a politics thread.

You have 34 posts, have you seriously joined this website to share internet MEMEs?

Kim Jong-Il doesn't like this thread.

----------------------------------------
Kim Jong-Il when he was young had a more tolerable view though.

I am in agreement with the Great Leader on this question.

I am in agreement with the Great Leader on this question. As am I.

We should replace it with a lively discussion of this:

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Vol. 98 of "Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works", a library of the immortal Juche idea.I think Communist leaders are all in secret competitions for the biggest volumes of Collected Works. Hoxha had 70, Lenin had around 40 (about 10 more were planned but then the USSR collapsed), Stalin only had 13 official Collected Works (more were planned but then "Stalin" became a dirty word post-1956, and Stalin felt he never wrote that much anyway) and both Marx and Engels supposedly beat them all according to Wikipedia:

Marx/Engels Collected Works (MECW) is the largest collection of translations into English (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_language) of the works of Karl Marx (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Marx) and Friedrich Engels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Engels). It contains all works published by Marx and Engels in their lifetimes and numerous unpublished manuscripts and letters. The Collected Works, which was translated by Richard Dixon and others, consists of 50 volumes...

Although the Collected Works is the most complete collection of the work by Marx and Engels published to date in English, it is not their complete works. A project to publish the pair's complete works in German (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language) is expected to require more than 120 volumes.Evidently Kim Il Sung is seeking to beat Marx and Engels from the grave.

This, ladies and gentlemen.

THIS.

This is the very epitome of the shameless drunk post. It is an ideal to which we must all aspire.
