I'm not exactly new here, had an account for 9 months. But I'd like to introduce myself!! I'm big on Juche-Songun, the Third Universal Theory, and Cuba, fan of Chavez & Evo most of the time, fond of the Zapatistas and Sandinistas, Nasser is a big hero as well and reaching back even further I tip my hat to the Jacobins of 1793. I skate, tag, write poetry, sing in a band, and usually prefer cannabis sativa to indica.
I've been to a couple PSL things and a few of the "Occupy events".
Me and my pals are working on some programs at our local skate park: were trying to hold informal classes using Guerilla warfare by Che Guevara as a manual to teach young, local grafiti artists how to move around covertly and get away with it. We've organized a few shop lifting expeditions as well and try to structure our gigs as rallies.
If anyone is in the Southern California area and would like to link up or at least just chit-chat message me. Jus looken for revleft homies to talk to when I'm stoned and lonely late at night and to lazy to write out full posts.

Blahblah, lets not immediately scare the guy. Though Juche is not held in high regard here, there is no reason to slaughter him in his introduction already. So...
WELCOME COMRADE! Have a nice stay!

It is probably the 'Third Universal Theory', which means Gaddafi's Green Book.

Not for nothing, but a great many Marxists look to the Jacobins, IIRC Marx included.
Anyway, welcome! :)

My awareness of Marx's view of the Jacobins is that they overthrew the feudal society in favor of a bourgeois one.

Yup, that's hinted at in the first couple chapters of the manifesto I believe.

Because if this is what the revolutionary/anti-imperialist youth in Southern Cali strives for.. This is not a good starting point. Come on hermano! you can do better than this.

Tone down the ridicule guys. It may be an unusual combination of people & groups they support, but let's not let this devolve into trash.
