I only recently became aware of its new status, but a cemetery (http://www.douban.com/photos/album/48651652/) in Shaping, Chongqing, is apparently one of the few public memorial sites for fallen Red Guards who died during the Cultural Revolution left in China, and was given state protection last year (http://china.globaltimes.cn/society/2011-04/499636.html), to be preserved as a place of historical and cultural interest.

Out of the 531 bodies buried there, most are from a (conservative) faction called August 15th, while a few were from their (radical) rivals, a faction called Rebel to the End. An interesting article about the place and those killed can be found here (http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/asia/red-guard-undertaker-still-feels-guilt/450371).

Lastly, some photos of the cemetery, taken during the GPCR, can be found here (http://bbs.tiexue.net/post_4256779_1.html).
