Hi,

I'm a communist who has a moderate to severe disability and unable to work more than several hours a week.

How do socialists, communists, and anarchists deal with people with disabilities who are unable to work or contribute to society very much like me (other than eugenics lol)?

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need

If you work to the best of your ability then you will recieve everything you need to live a dignified life.

Disabled people who are unable to work are part of the dependant population, which is also made up of children and people too old to work.

However, physical disability isn't much of a barrier to finding a job you enjoy :)

Communism is not ableist. If one is incapable of being "productive" then they will be accounted for by the rest of society.

Disabled people will be assigned with jobs they're capable of doing.

If disabled people are entirely incapable of any work they would still be taken care of to live a fulfilling life.

Communism is an ideology that puts human dignity and well-being above everything else.

And who's the judge of who is capable?

The doctor/work commission? Standards and laws can be made without a problem.
Those without hands obviously won't be assigned with office jobs, which can be done by those who for example lost their legs.

In addition to what everyone else said, we are at a time in society where technology is advancing very quickly(so we will most likely be able to aid the disabled in becoming abled as well as diseases/genetic/etc-near future and distant future), and technology would be at the service of the collective interest of the community as opposed to corporate and private interests.
