Is the definition of a conspiracy secret or a secret plan ? The reason I ask is because Alex Jones says he has proof of the suff he talks about how can he when it is a secret plan ?

In common nomenclature conspiracy normally carries connotations of secrecy. But, i don't think it necessarily does. If you and your friend sit in a BK and discuss how to kill Shelly Burns Howzersmith (fake name :lol:) you're still going to be charged with "conspiracy to commit murder."

Well, the 9/11 attacks were certainly a conspiracy i.e some group of people had a secret plan to carry out a terrorist attack and they succeeded, whether it was the government or Islamic extremists is irrelevant to the definition of "Conspiracy". However, what Alex Jones has are "Conspiracy-Theories", which usually have little to no evidence for their claims whatsoever. The reptilian illuminati are not a conspiracy, just a conspiracy-theory, and an extremely terrible one at that.

A conspiracy is a secret plot, a conspiracy-theory is a way of explaining mysteries and it may or may not be true but often the latter. It's basically another god-of-the-gaps argument.

Its a "secret" because he found it "out". It's no secret that everything that has ever come out of that man's mouth has been a desperate attempt for attention and a distraction from real issues at hand.
