DJ Shadow has made some of the most innovative and original music out there. His drum beats are fantastic, I recommend him to everybody.
No, he's not reggae.

Nothing really.
DJ Shadow is a good guy though. Francis Ford Coppola isn't a particularily good guy. There's a connection somewhere.
DJ Shadow is playing in Ireland next year.
His music is pretty crazy, maybe a mish mash of hip hop coupled, with a bit of funk and soul, and a dash of hard crazy drums and cut up beats and general madness, he must use thousands and thousands of samples in an album. I wonder how impressively extensive his library is.

but, how long has this dj shadow guy been around if cappolla made reference to him way back when martin sheen wasn't a geezer? Unless dj shadow truly is a shadow, and just hangs around, you know.

Francis Ford Coppola might never have said that.

Now your cookin, Kool Keith is the original nutty nut nut..
He has done time in a fruit house, "Blue flowers" "rap moves on to the year 3000" Loon, I remember an interview in Grand royal where he said he wanted to set up prize cage fights between Polar bears and Crocodiles amongst other viscious and exotic beasts, shame it never transpired...
"Your whole crew is ice cream fudge!"
Shadow along with DJ Krush and the whole Mo wax crew really initiated the whole turntablist, trip hop, abstract beats thing in the early nineties... other artists on the
same tip include Peanut butter wolf, cut chemist, scratch
perverts, coldcut, mr scruff.. it's all good shit..
