Okay, last night was Halloween, and i was at a small party of about close to ten people just hanging out in my friends basement talking. Then i was laying next to my friend on a couch and i just began explaining why communism will benifit the world. Everyone was tired and about to fall asleep, they all gathered around me while i began explaining how the Cuban revolution was the best revolution of the people and for the people.
These kids aren't like the big history buffs like me, or that political, but everytime they said like, "But there's no democracy in communism" and i just replied with, "There is in real communism" my kind of communism atleast..and they shut up and kept listening to me talk..
By 1 in the morning about half the kids had fallen asleep and the others were still listening to me keep talking about how a working class revolution would work in the U$.
I was sort of afraid i'd like blown their whole world of capitalism and greed away, it made me feel really wierd. But it did make me feel like special for enlightening everyone.
