Came across some LaRouchies today, otherwise known in Australia as members of the 'Citizens Electoral Council', apparently a mag-lev train all over Australia would not only be worth it, but bring prosperity to all of us, neat huh?

This is the first I've ever heard of LaRouche and his apparently insane "movement" or whatever. Browsing the CEC website I stumbled across this document (http://cecaust.com.au/pubs/pdfs/articles/Synarchist-Aust.pdf), which actually turned out to be pretty informative in regards to Australian fascism in the 30s.

They bait and hook with what seems like reasonable demands, people's bank and the like..and useful info like this. But it's a reactionary political cult

There's an entire thread on the American LaRouchites here with informative info: http://www.revleft.com/vb/larouche-meeting-my-t161399/index.html

There's also an "exposé" by an ex-CEC member which notes the cult nature of the group (although the author is himself a reactionary and falsely claims that LaRouche has never given up Marxism): http://laroucheplanet.info/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Library.BeyondCommonSense

In the US they just managed to get an interview (http://www.larouchepac.com/node/19744) with a rather liberal Republican Congressman (aka Representative). That's a step up from the State Representatives and State Senators (note: different from national Senators) they usually brag about once in a while. LaRouchites are hoping to gain recruits from recent events by channeling popular discontent into a supposed "fight" against the "British oligarchy."

Yeah, if I remember my history, wasn't there some kind of struggle in North America against the British back in the 1770s? Its been a while, so I may be wrong about this. Regardless, thankfully we have Lynn Marcus to fight the reptiloids/City of London/people who drive on the wrong side of the road.

It'd be awesome if LaRouche were still a "socialist." If only because of the crazy stuff he wrote:

The subsumption of self-consciousness in many, in this fashion, by two or more persons in self-conscious relationship to one another, results in what must first appear to be an unending series of the following form: We are self-conscious of our mutual self-consciousness of the self-consciousness of others. The more others are subsumed by this self-consciousness, the greater the enumeration of self-consciousness of self-consciousness of self-consciousness, etc.
It is, of course, true that the butchers of Latin America are the agents of the U.S. State Department, CIA, and international cartels. It is also true that in Latin America the CIA finds such excellent butchers for its purpose, and populations which not only tolerate such bestiality, but in which the Left itself has such a necrophiliac fascination with sado-masochistic submission to death by torture. The Macho Leftist is little concerned to wipe out the butchery; his image of the revolutionary is the sacrificial victim baring its chest to the bullet, the victim submitting to the ultimate homosexual masochistic fantasy of being sodomically raped to death. He is the most pathetic of Christians, especially when he deludes himself he is an atheist; the prototypical Macho revolutionary is the revolutionary priest reliving the Passion of Christ in submitting to the most degraded tortures and death, indeed almost begging to be sodomically raped in such a fashion. The Macho Left will then make gigantic bull-fight posters of the victim, eulogizing the “beauty” of this sodomic death-rape; they will parade pictures of the victim's mutilated body to the credulous Machos who dream of themselves achieving the same Passionate perfection of “being a true revolutionary.”
As for the woman: one day, she too, tires of the monotony of tormenting her pet pathetic rapist, her husband. She becomes pregnant, and is now free to distance herself from her husband by exercising that form of more gratifying sadism she learned from her mother—the sadistic possession of her children. Through her sadism, her possessiveness, she turns her sons into Macho dogs like her husband before them, and her daughters into frigid pseudo-Virgin Marys, like herself. She and her husband meet as strangers, as hostile ambassadors from their respective worlds. He, from the homosexual world of his cronies and his whore-wives; she, from the world of the household, where she is the Virgin-Mother possessor of her victim- children.

They demonstrate the fascist of Trotskyism. :)LaRouche wasn't an "orthodox" Trotskyist. He tried to persuade Workers League members (aka American Healyites, later became the SEP) that, well, see for yourself: "Their solution (i.e., the capitalists) is to attempt to establish a viable and productive peasantry in the backward countries and lay the basis for primitive accumulation to create an internal market and lay the basis for capitalist expansion. Since 1959, the U.S. has followed a policy of managed social revolutions; the general policy of imperialism is to support nationalist colonial revolution as long as they remain within control of imperialism."

And: "The SWP et al. failed to see this and merely sees the U.S. and its allies as conducting a struggle against the colonial revolution . . . this is not the case. They are instead trying to circumvent the Permanent Revolution by sucking the working class and peasantry of these countries into the train of Ben Bella, Nasser, etc. and to use these regimes to lay the basis for reorganization for healthy internal agricultural development, and in turn the imperialist exploitation of these countries. Pabloites see this as progressive. If colonial revolution follows the Cuban/Ben Bella model, ultimately it is the victory of imperialism. . . How does capitalism progress - by expanding production. But this has come to a halt in the advanced countries, and they expand instead in Latin America, in Africa, in India. We saw this in 1957 in Cuba, how consciously the bourgeoisie supported the Castro revolution. The only solution is to create a prosperous and productive peasantry and create an internal market for capitalist accumulation; otherwise it will have to confront class struggle in its own country in the last resort."

The Healyites, SWP, Sparts etc. regarded LaRouche (then going by the name "Lynn Marcus," aka Lenin-Marx) as a weird guy.
