That will not be in their interests, because it will greatly lower the demand for their products.

That is why robotisation of the workforce can never happen under Capitalism.

You don't seem to understand that capitalism in the classical sense is not the end-goal of the capitalists.
So yes, robotisation - total and complete - is very much in their interests.
