Aleksey Korshunov, one of the most prominent underground Russian Nazi activists, died in Zaporozhe of Ukraine in an accidental explosion. A handgrenade exploded in a bag which he was carrying while joging in morning. He participated to planning of assasination of Stanislav Markelov, and is also suspected of being the assassin of anti-fascist Ivan Khutorskoy and federal judge Eduard Chuvashov.

Yes - workers do need to defend themselves in a revolutionary situation. Note the defend in my sentence. There's a difference between maning the barricaides to defend your community in a time of insurrection, and getting ten of your mates to don balaclavas and ambush a fash on his way home from the local pub.

If this had been just a random Stormfront member or even a high profile speaker like David Duke I would agree with you. But from everything I have read it seems like Aleksey Korshunov was a very violent man, if him dieing means a immigrant family is left unscathed than I think it is good thing.

The situation in Russia is pretty fucking serious. It is at a point where people simply are not save anymore.

AFA activists in Russia need to go to great lengths to hide their identities, both online and in the real world. If they think you are an activist then you are sure to get targetted.

Two "friends" of mine got attacked by members of the Slaviyansky Sayuz (and yes...that spells SS...and that is not coincidence) during the day, when they were minding their own bussiness. They were seen earlier leaving a left wing underground club. They both eneded up in hospital. Another got stabbed after leaving a rally....when he was on the bus. Also during day time.

That however is not all. The far right is growing rapidly. And it is extremely militant and active. They have websites, news sites which are influencing the mainstream media, they have television time, prominent members of nazi groups or nazi sympathisers are allowed to become professors or directors of educational facilities (like Alexandr Dukin) and are asked often and repeatedly as commentators in the mainstream media. They have a huge influence in police and military. And on the government itself.


The Russian government is instrumental in the rise of ultra nationalism and neo-nazi and fascist groups. Not only does it continue to extend support to moderate noationalist groups...making the ethnic argument a mainstream opinion.

They also started many youth groups after the democratic movements in the Ukrain and Georgia in order to prevent such reform demands taking hold in Russia. These groups are often based on the idea to prevent foreign influence on Russia and to defend society against that influence...and with that they mean democracy, cultural values etc.

Well...it does not take a genius to see that that is bordering on Hitler Jugend institutions run by the government. In fact...there is only a very fine line between the government youth groups and neo-nazi groups. And that provides a virtile recruitment ground for the extreme right.
