Its October 5th and I am sitting and the computer without shirt and melting to the chair with +35บ C.
The beaches were filled with people and its fucking october 5th.
Maybe its global warming, or 2012 is coming our way.

What should I do?

Moderate warm weather rocks not 35C :D so I voted for chit chatting
And yeah, Portugal is having a bizarre autumn, at least here in Brasil it is supposed to be hot right now.

According to brazilian people I know summers in Portugal are a lot more dry and tougher to get trough.

Quite true
I was in Portugal during the summer of 2010(in Alfena), and it was a lot more difficult than the usual summer I have in Brasil(near Sao Paulo).

I was felt like I was melting away every day and then those damned fires made it worse. :D

35 C? Christ. We're only hovering around high 20's low 30's during the day here. Granted that is only because of a cold front hovering over us, but still. Fridge time.

We had a boiling end to September here too, with temperatures into the low thirties Celsius. It's going back to the norm for this time of year now, though.

And it's finally raining in Cali. Weird.

Hey! Hey! Sleep now in the fridge!

Go into the bathoom, fill the enitre tube with ice, turn on the AC, put a towel under the door, put 10 fans in there and put them on high and turn your waster closet into a morgue.

Dude, get used to it, as we do at the other side of the Duero and Guadiana. Best thing to do, is to sleep in the coolest place in the house, in my case, and most cases, the living room, with all the windows opened.

Damn! It's been 24 C for the past week here, super nice! Leaves changing like crazy, but not cold yet. To be honest I just want some damn snow! Cold showers help. Or just spend a winter in Wisconsin, you might start begging for 35 C after that haha.

How cold does it get in a Wisconsin winter? An English winter usually gets temperatures between around -10C/14F (mostly at night, though) and 10C/50F. Scotland can get even colder in the middle of winter.

Usually it's about -10 to -15F (sorry don't know Celsius for that low). Last year it wad a bit warmer, around 0F. When the winds pick up in can be as cold as -30F. England is a bit warmer because of the marine effect.

-10F = -23C
-15F = -26C
0F = - 17C
-30F = -34C

That's extremely cold, I don't think I've ever experienced -17C before.

I don't mind cold weather too much, but I hate it when ice makes roads and pavements (sidewalks) slippery, and you have to be really careful not to fall over and land on your arse or, even worse, hit your head. Even using those yaktrax things on shoes doesn't always prevent slipping.

Ahh thnx for the link! Yeah sometimes it will get to like 0C on a day, and then gies back down to -17C and all the melted snow turns to ice. I got my drivers license during a huge snowstorm. The instructor said "Wow, if you can drive in this, you are fine". You know it's cold when you walk outside and your boogers freeze instantly :)

Well that's strange, given that Sweden for the third year in a row is heading for a mega-winter.

To elaborate, it was -32C in the winter mornings a couple of times last year, and I live right by the ocean in the south-western part of the country.

It was -50F with windchill for my first Christmas in Wisconsin. England appears to have a wider range of temperature than Georgia, but also seems to be warmer, curiously. Here in Atlanta it was between 10F and 35F last winter.

Scandinavia FTW! The weather, that is...

I would die if i had to live in Australia, or just visit there.

Most places are fucking warm, we need to find a way to put a layer over Earth so we can adjust the temperature we want where we live.

And I have difficulty even thinking of visiting Scandinavia even in the summer :D

I voted "sleep in the fridge", but I was thinking more you could lock yourself in a freezer so we wouldn't get any more of these threads.

Then chit chat wouldnt have polls with Triple A options to vote for.
