A now sadly dead militant union from Australia, whose worker's won unparalleled gains through the 1970s and 1980s as a result of militant industrial action, and their class conscious outlook. Sadly, the union was strangled by the 'Labor' government of the 1980s and put to death by the end of the decade. Emblematic of the fighting spirit of the BLF was renowned organiser John Cummins, who sadly passed away in 2006. He will be remembered as a champion of the working class, international solidarity and was a fine communist. Here's to Cummo and the BLF!
