I've got two in one eye, one of which is directly over my pupil.

Shit sucks bro, right around midterms too.

Have you seen a doctor. It's important to prevent infection, and protect the eye from irritation from sun, wind, etc. so you might want to wear sunglasses pretty much any time you're exposed to light.

Do not rub the eye. Doctors will prescribe drops to prevent infection and or relieve the pain. Advil worked pretty well for me.

Sometimes they recommend covering the eye until it heals.

I've had it twice from wearing contact lenses. Its very important to prevent infection. It hurts like hell, you'll be super sensitive to light but the good thing is that it heals fast, usually 2 to 3 days.

Yea I went to the doctor, he gave me some anti-infectant drops and such. Living at Uni, all this crap is super subsidised so it was like a buck for the prescription and the visit was free (though I'm sure they charged all this shit via tuition in the beginning anyway but that's life).

He didn't say anything about not rubbing eyes though I've tried to avoid it. It's mostly better now since yesterday was my one class day and I simply slept all day long.

Thanks for the concern all.
